On y circule, tout dépaysé, ravi de beauté, assailli d'émotions fortes : tantôt jubiler devant la profusion, l’exubérance d’un monde coloré ou l’humour de telle vision cocasse, tantôt s’inquiéter, violemment frappé par la souffrance qui sourd de tel autre tableau, même d'anodine apparence …
Rigueur du trait et variété des techniques au service d’une multiplicité de sujets qu'elle aborde, en séries souvent. Arbres ou objets du quotidien, flore ou minéraux, singes ou divinités païennes … de l’infime à l’infini, un répertoire du réel.
À chaque étape de son travail, Françoise Claire Collin se révèle poète, elle nous offre à voir le monde autrement : comme les physiciens, botanistes et autres naturalistes, elle observe, s’étonne qu'autant de réponses brutes nous environnent, à décrypter. Un pas de côté, un petit décalage du regard et rien n’est jamais seulement ce qu’il semble, le langage muet des choses familières est à traduire, une origine commune infiltre tous les règnes de la création continuée…

We are happy to see you while you discover over 50 years of a multifaceted creation that keeps on surprising the public. In this universe you move around, like in a dream, as if taken out of the reality, amazed by the beauty surrounding you and overwhelmed by strong emotions. Sometimes you rejoice internally in front of the abundance and the exuberance of the colourful world or of such a daring and vision full of humour but all of a sudden you are full of worry, violently taken aback by the wave of suffering emerging from a painting, be it in a very insignificant way…
The obvious discipline of the trait and the variety of techniques are serving the multitude of subjects that she treats, often in series. Trees or everyday objects, floral or mineral, signs of the pagan divinities… from the tiny to the infinite, appear as if from the directory of the real world.
In every phase of her work, Françoise Claire Collin, reveals herself to us as a poet, and offers to the public a different way to see the world : the way physicians, botanists and other natural science specialists see it but through a certain poetic veil. She keeps observing, surprised of how many raw unexplained responses are surrounding us. One step to the side, a different angle of the look and nothing seems the way it was. The silent language of familiar things is to be translated once again and the common origin penetrates all the layers of the continued creation…
